The cleaning operation is conduced after that the liquefied metal has been poured from the ladle into a mould. In the ladle there are always some slag and metal residues that must be cleaned to preserve the quality of the next casting. To realise this operation is possible to heat the ladle until the slag starts to melt. It's also useful to work with high power burners to reduce the energy transfer to the refractory material.
