Pulp & Paper  [ Return towards  Applications ]

Ultraviolet (UV) or Electron Beam (EB) are used to polymerize monomers and oligomers onto a substrate. Advantages from this technology versus thermal drying technology are significant : fast curing times resulting in high productivity, space saving...

Refine your search

using the following 1 or 2 filters (In this case, you can select one or both types of themas)

Polysulfide Liquor Generation

Did you know ? the polysulfide cooking enables you to increase the pulp yield on your fibers line from 1 to 3 % and therefore increase your unit productivity ; oxygen is used to convert the classical kraft liquor in a " polisulfide liquor " by controlled oxidation.

UV Curing

You use to treat papers, cartons, even wood items to polymerise varnishes by ultraviolet or electro beam ? Take the nitrogen profit : reduction of the photoinitiators costs, and VOC emission, higher quality of treatment, etc.

Waste papers treatment with Ozone

You should notice that ozone can be used to bleach the waste papers as well. In this case, it will not only decolorize the pulp but furthermore will reduce their residual fluorescence coming from the optical whiteners.
