Hydrogen [ Return towards  Standard gases  ]

Present in the atmosphere as traces, the hydrogen is generated, from hydrocarbons (oil and by-products), and water.

The hydrogen represents the lightest fraction of the molecule H2O.

Colorless, highly flammable, very light gas, the hydrogen does not maintain the life and reacts easily in the presence of other chemical substances.
