  • Enhanced Combustion

Air is used in most part of industrial combustions as an oxidizing agent. It contains a strong proportion of nitrogen inert gas, which reduces the efficiency of combustion.

Oxy-combustion solutions developed by Air Liquide improve yield and heat transfers while reducing the consumption of fossil fuel (fuel oil, natural gas, coal...) and consequently CO2 emission.

  • Window Insulation

Using argon or krypton to replace air contained in double glazing increase thermal efficiency. Less heat transfers through windows means less energy consumed for building heating or air conditioning (see Glass).
