  • Biogas Purification

Membrane gas separation systems developed by Air Liquide have been adapted to the purification of biogas from landfill or fermentation (sludge or waste digestion).

Membranes separate the methane of the CO2 to produce natural gas which can be used as biofuel.

  • Solid Waste Recycling

The use of liquid nitrogen for cryogenic grinding or controlled temperature grinding improves productivity and safety of separation processes (plastics, rubber, metals...).

Cryogenic condensation with liquid nitrogen allows to trap solvents and greenhouse gases resulting from the recycling of waset from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in particular from refrigerators.

Nitrogen blanketing ensures safe operation in solvent  or oil recycling units.

Oxy-combustion technologies allow to increase incinerators capacity but also to burn low calorific value waste (water, sludge...) while decreasing fuel consumption, fumes volume and pollutants and CO2 emissions.

Air Liquide has developed solutions adapted to the incineration such as total or local enrichment of the combustion air. These solutions use a whole range of equipments (burners, nozzle, supersonic injectors).
